The artwork relates to the earliest bearer of the name, and is packed with symbolism. If you you would like to know more on this topic, and if your family name has a coat of arms, read our blog here. Plus, we have a free heraldry dictionary, to help you decode the hidden meaning and symbolism on the coat of arms itself. Option of your own artwork

If you would prefer a clan badge, we have a database of 35,000 clan names and will likely be able to help you. Alternatively, if you have your own artwork available as a high resolution image, we can recreate it for you. What better way to create a truly unique heirloom, which will be treasured for years to come? What’s more, no-one else will have the same as you!

How the Coat of Arms Swords are manufactured

All of our coats of arms are high resolution and are digitally printed in vibrant colours. Plus, they are encased in a polyurethane resin dome. In this way, they provide a hard-wearing, non-yellowing, scratch and shatter resistant protective finish. They are attached to the pommel with an incredibly strong adhesive, so that they remain fixed for years to come.

This high-quality sword is manufactured in the ancient walled city of Toledo, which is famed for its sword production throughout the Medieval and Renaissance periods. It is available with a choice of Antiqued Brass or Brushed Steel finish and features a polished stainless steel blade with blunt edges for safety.

Hello Laura, I am pleased to say we can help. Although we do not sell signet rings, we can provide you with an image of the earliest coat of arms associated with the name ‘Swords’, so that you may give it to a manufacturer. If you would like to do this, click this link and select ‘jpeg image’. Kind regards, Jo. https://www.hallofnames.org.uk/product/coat-of-arms-print/
